Fantasy-F1.Net Terms of Service Agreement (revised 1 January 2008)

This Terms of Service Agreement (the "Agreement") provides important information about your use of the Fantasy-F1.Net site (the "Site"). You must accept this agreement, as it is presented to you, without changes, to become a registered user of the site. At any time we may change the Agreement. If we do so you will be notified the next time you log in. The Agreement is always available to read on the Terms of Service page. As long as you comply with the Agreement, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use the Site.

Usernames, Team and League Names, League Comments and Messages:

People of all ages use the Site and should feel comfortable reading usernames, team and league names, league comments and messages posted by other users. Users of the site may not create usernames, team names, league names, league comments or messages that are libelous, threatening, objectionable, discriminatory, abusive or offensive in a sexual, racial, cultural, or ethnic context. All user-created content is reviewed either prior to publication, or retrospectively, for conformance. The site policy when reviewing material is "if in doubt, delete". Users should therefore adopt an "if in doubt, don't" approach to avoid transgressing.

Users are not allowed to post copyright material, sell or market products, services or other web sites. Neither should messages promote or commit an illegal act. By posting a message you are granting Fantasy-F1.Net a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive worldwide right and licence to use the message in its entirity on any web site run by Fantasy-F1.Net. Views expressed in messages posted on the Site are not endorsed by Fantasy-F1.Net or its sponsors, neither do they neccesarily reflect the views of Fantasy-F1.Net or its sponsors.

Privacy:

Fantasy-F1.Net respects the privacy of its users and takes every care that their email address is not revealed to other users, or to third parties (unless agreed in advance by the user). In general, no user registration information, other than the username, will be displayed to other users on the site. Fantasy-F1.Net may pass details of email addresses to third parties for marketing purposes, but only for those users that have agreed for their details to be made available by answering Yes to 'Third parties can send me promotions emails' on the manage account page. You can view or change this setting at any time by clicking on 'my account' at the top of the page.

If you use the invite functionality on this site then your username and email address will be revealed to any individuals you send an invitation to.

This site uses cookies, stored by the user's web browser, to store the following information: email address - to identify the user, and browser type (PC or PDA) to select an appropriate layout for the site. To prevent the email address cookie being used, ensure that you clear the 'remember me after I log out' check box on the login page, or click on the 'click here if you are not ' link (at the top of each page) to remove them at the end of a session. If you don't want us to store any cookies, set up your browser to always reject cookies from our site. The site will continue to function using its default layout.

Use of web logs: Web logs capture the activities of users when they visit the site. Under normal circumstances, web logs are used only to analyse site traffic and diagnose and fix problems with the site. Details of user accounts, access to the web site, and the relevant web logs may be requested by, and will be passed to, law enforcement agencies only if the appropriate legal paperwork is in place. Breach of the Agreement:

If you fail to abide by the terms of the Agreement this may result in deletion of teams, leagues, messages or an entire account, without any right to reimbursement of any monies paid to Fantasy-F1.Net. A serious breach may also result in email addresses and/or usernames being black-listed indefinitely.

If any part of this Agreement is unacceptable you should decline. Otherwise, accept the agreement to complete your registration.
