Welcome to Fantasy-F1.Net

What you'll find here is a web site dedicated to Formula One, run by Formula One fans, for other Formula One fans. The site was born in an office in Slough, UK in 1997 as a game played through an Excel spreadsheet. The following year we moved to the Internet, adopting the Fantasty-F1.Net domain name in 2000. By 2005 the site had grown to over 5,000 users in over 60 countries, and it continues to grow dramatically.

Fantasy-F1.Net is not a full-featured F1 news site, although you will find some news coverage here. We concentrate on simply providing the best fantasy team management game on the net, and the neccesary information to back that up - testing information, practice times, race reports etc. Our reporting is delivered from a very personal viewpoint - politically incorrect and frequently biased - we like it that way and we hope you'll agree that it helps prevent the site from being yet another dry clone of all those other F1 web sites.

Running sites like this cost money, and we currently employ a number of strategies to help cover our costs. If you want to run your own league under the free game, then there is a small charge to do this. The site continues to undergo year-on-year improvements both in terms of functionality and layout. Fantasy-F1.Net is not just a web site - its a complex software project that has been growing and evolving over several years. Like most software I'd be surprised if the odd bug hadn't crept in here and there.
